Paul Giamatti finds unexpected success as a wrestling coach mentoring a high school athlete in Tom McCarthy’s Win Win (which NY Magazine critic David Edelstein calls “terrific” and is due out March 18). But that doesn’t mean it all comes easily. In fact, when Giamatti tests out his young protege’s skills in this exclusive clip provided to Vulture, he’s pinned to the ground and covered in grass stains almost immediately. Won’t onlookers Amy Ryan and Bobby Cannavale give him a hand, or do they just like watching Paul Giamatti get beat up by a teenager? (In all fairness, it is kind of amusing.)
