All Points West is dead — and, moribund along with it, one would have thought, was the dream of a big U.K./Coachella/Bonnaroo–style music festival in the greater–New York area. Not so fast, says Fred Fellowes: The promoter of the U.K.’s Secret Garden Party is bringing the first-ever Escape to New York festival to Southampton, New York’s Shinnecock Reservation this summer, from August 5 to 7. On the bill right now, which will run you $100 for a one-day pass and $275 for the weekend, are Best Coast, White Rabbits and the Vaccines; more acts will be announced shortly.
