Last time James Frey appeared on Oprah, in 2006, it was to receive a very public dressing-down for having presented his drug memoir A Million Little Pieces as nonfiction. Oprah was seriously disappointed: “That’s a lie. It’s not an idea, James. That’s a lie.” Since then, Oprah has actually apologized to Frey and even asked him to come on the show, but it hasn’t worked out — until now! Frey will reportedly appear on Oprah sometime in May to discuss his new book, The Final Testament of the Holy Bible, about the Second Coming going down in the Bronx and the messiah being a bisexual alcoholic.
