Law & Order: LA Gets Killed in the Ratings, Too

Skeet Ulrich wasn’t the only one who found himself slaughtered last night. The retooled Law & Order: Los Angeles — which shuffled around cast members and offed Ulrich’s detective — hit a series low in its return to the airwaves after heavy network promotion. In fact, it was down 32 percent from the last new episode, attracting fewer than six million viewers. The night’s other heavily promoted episode, Olivia Wilde’s return to House, also sunk in the ratings week to week. Still, despite waning interest in the Fox medical drama, expect only Law & Order to be euthanized by the May upfronts. [Inside TV/EW]
