Teri Hatcher and her friends on Wisteria Lane are staying desperate. TV Line reports that Hatcher, Marcia Cross, Eva Longoria, and Felicity Huffman have all signed contracts committing to an eighth season of Desperate Housewives and an option for the ninth, which will net them a raise of $50,000 per episode (from $275,000 to $325,000). ABC hasn’t yet renewed the show, but it’s now expected to be a done deal, as ABC Entertainment president Paul Lee hinted in January. [TV Line]
