And for his next batshit-crazy trick, Vincent Gallo will star in the Italian movie The Legend of Kaspar Hauser, an adaptation of the real-life story of Hauser, a nineteenth-century German youth and likely con artist who got lots of attention for mysteriously showing up in Nuremberg one day and claiming he had been raised in complete isolation. And that’s not even the crazy part! The crazy part is that Gallo will play two characters, the Pusher and the Sheriff; also, as the Pusher, he will speak Italian. The project starts shooting soon in Sardinia. And we are reminded, once again, that Vincent Gallo’s life is awesome. [Variety]
