Mark Burnett may have made a name for himself producing reality and lifestyle shows like Survivor, The Apprentice, The Contender, Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?, Shark Tank, Sarah Palin’s Alaska, Martha Stewart, and The Voice, but now he’s taking on a new project: the Bible! Sadly, he hasn’t figured out a way to turn it into a competitive reality series. Instead, he’s producing a ten-hour “docudrama” for the History Channel that will air in 2013 and will cover everything “from Genesis to Revelation.” Think of all the possible elimination rounds there could be in there, Mark. This is a missed opportunity.
