Now that Gilly and Penelope have gone to that great sketch comedy show in the sky, we finally have room in our hearts for new Kristen Wiig SNL characters, just as soon as Lorne Michaels lets them out of their cage. As Wiig explained on Letterman last night, she will never stop going to bat for Tony, a little Italian man who really likes the ladies, and Joan Hawaii P.I., a detective in Hawaii who “kayaks everywhere.” Based on her description, I’m ready to let them dance into my hearts on little baked potato feet.
