Along with the pickups come the cancellations. NBC has dropped three of its freshmen series: The underwhelming Law & Order: Los Angeles, the convoluted sci-fi serial The Event, and national punching bag Outsourced have all been axed. This really has not been NBC’s year, in so many ways! Undercovers, Outlaw, Perfect Couples, The Cape and The Paul Riser Show didn’t make it past their first seasons, either. [The Futon Critic]
