U.S. Court of Appeals Upholds $7 Million Judgment Against Sonja Morgan

A United States Court of Appeals judge on Friday ruled that Sonja Morgan, star of Real Housewives of New York, is personally liable for fraudulent conduct against Hannibal Pictures, after pulling out of financing the movie — wait for it — Fast Flash to Bang Time. “The masks are falling and there is no longer any doubt that we were defrauded and severely damaged,” said Hannibal’s Rionda del Castro. “We are now going to collect to the fullest extent of the law.” Morgan, who filed for bankruptcy in November, claimed the movie never came to fruition because its planned star, John Travolta, needed “various conditions” that her company, “Sonja Productions,” couldn’t provide. But a judge said the lady just didn’t pay up, and she owes Hannibal $7 million. She’s going to need to keep her unpaid interns around the townhouse a little bit longer. [Esq./HR]
