Belle & Sebastian have released a music video for a reworked version of their next catchy Write About Love single, “Come On Sister.” True to form, it’s adorable. The video raises the question: If the members of Belle & Sebastian were not in a successful indie-rock band, what would they be doing? In this alternate reality, they work dead-end municipal jobs at landfills, or hang at home in their skivvies, laughing at bad TV and scheming. They work at an ice-cream truck, or handle construction gigs. Nine albums deep, Belle & Sebastian are still just part of the people, man. Is that true? We don’t really care, because they excel at their real-life jobs as musicians.
