In his Parade magazine cover story, Cory Monteith, better known as Glee’s All-American quarterback Finn Hudson, says he’s “lucky to be alive,” since he spent his teenage years “skipping school, drinking, and smoking marijuana.” Doesn’t sound too serious, but he insists: “I was out of control. I would try anything and everything, as much as possible. I had a serious problem. I stole a significant amount of money from a family member. I knew I was going to get caught, but I was so desperate I didn’t care. I’m not Finn Hudson.” All right, now someone cast him in something edgy. He’s begging. [Parade via PopWatch/EW]
