J.J. Abrams is finally taking the wraps off his secretive Super 8 this weekend, so it’s kind of his Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof to come along with another numerically titled big-screen project for all of us to speculate about. Deadline reports that Lindelof just made a seven-figure deal to script and produce 1952, a large-scale sci-fi film for Disney. No additional details are known, and 1952 is just a working title, but maybe it means that Lindelof plans to do Abrams one better in the nostalgia derby by turning the clock back even further from Super 8’s 1979 setting?
