According to her spokesperson, Julie Taymor will attend the long-delayed, overhauled Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark premiere tonight. Dunh dunh dunh! We have sympathetic butterflies in our stomach just imagining it. Apparently, “several cast members and friends,” including leading man Reeve Carney, asked her to come. And then last Thursday, Bono called and asked her to come too. It was the first time they’ve spoken since Taymor was ousted from the production in March. Awkward!
