Like American Idol and Glee before it, The Voice is expanding its “successful music-themed television show” domain by heading out on a concert tour. The shows will feature the eight finalists (Beverly McClellan, Vicci Martinez, Dia Frampton, Javier Colon, Nakia, Xenia, Casey Weston, and Frenchie Davis) but not the actually famous judges. The Hollywood Reporter says organizers tried to get Cee Lo, Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, and Blake Shelton onboard, but the issue of proper compensation could not be settled amicably. Vulture thinks another possibility as to why the judges aren’t taking part is that they all wanted to stay home and watch Burlesque. [HR]
