Alan Cohen and Alan Freedland, the guys who wrote Due Date, just sold a new script called Swear to God to Warner Brothers. Apparently, Will Ferrell is attached to star and Adam McKay is in talks to direct, and it’ll be “a buddy comedy in which Ferrell plays a narcissistic hedge fund manager who thinks he has seen God.” I wasn’t a big fan of Due Date, but that sounds like a pretty promising premise. We’ll see!
