Amy Winehouse’s records were back on the Billboard top ten this week, following her death on Saturday. Back to Black sold 37,000 copies, which is the most popular the album has been since right after the 2008 Grammys, putting the record in ninth place. (Adele’s 21 was back at No. 1.) Black, 2007’s Frank, and other Winehouse B-sides and live records combined sold about 50,000 units last week, which is more than they had sold in the rest of this year combined. Man, Back to Black is such a great album. [ArtsBeat/NYT]
