Kristen Wiig recently picked her Bridesmaids follow-up, the movie Imogene. Wiig will star as a playwright who fakes a suicide attempt to get back an ex, but ends up in the custody of her gambling-addicted mom instead. Now comes news that said gambling addict will be played by Annette Bening, so she’s not just a gambling addict, she’s a gambling addict ball-buster who gives very dry, cutting line readings. Should be fun to watch Wiig, and her loosey-goosey vibe, hit up against those sharp edges. [Deadline]
