Blink-182 Is Releasing a New Song This Week

Blink-182 is releasing a new single, “Up All Night,” this Friday on Los Angeles radio station KROQ-FM at 7:30 a.m., and on the band’s website, the guys announced today. “Up All Night” will be Blink’s first new song in eight years, yet we can imagine exactly what it’ll sound like. Mark Hoppus said a new Blink album is on the way, too, and some of that will also be pleasantly unsurprising. “We have these songs that are total throwbacks, exactly what people know Blink is,” he admitted. “And we have songs that are madly different and experimental. Prog-rock Blink music — taking a Blink song but adding stadium rock qualities to it. We will have the album that I think is really modern and relevant to where we are in our career.” Hopefully they’ll be remastering “Dammit” as well. [Billboard]
