Bradley Cooper Pulls Out of The Crow

It looks like The Hangover’s bro-iest bro won’t be going goth after all. According to The Hollywood Reporter, scheduling issues have forced Cooper to give up the title role in Juan Carlos Fresnadillo’s remake of 1994’s super-dark comic book adaptation, The Crow. Reportedly, both Channing Tatum and Mark Wahlberg are interested in taking on the part, first played by actor Brandon Lee who — as many a morbid teenager can tell you — died as a result of an accidental gunshot wound sustained on the set of the film. Cooper, for his part, will just have to save the drama for his turn as Lucifer in original Crow director Alex Proyas’s take on Paradise Lost. [THR]
