It also helps if that song gets 20 million views on YouTube, as Mac Miller’s “Donald Trump” did. Never one to miss out on some self-promotion, Trump recorded a video endorsing Miller after the song hit the milestone and called him “the new Eminem,” which is obviously crazy. And not just because comparing someone so new to someone like Eminem is always silly, but because Trump admits that he can’t even understand Miller’s lyrics! That makes it pretty clear that he’s basing his comparison solely on skin color.
