HBO loves them some Bacon. Almost a year after announcing that Kevin Bacon would produce and likely star in a sitcom about a “burned-out golf pro,” HBO has ordered a script for a half-hour comedy pilot called Valentine that would also star Bacon. Valentine would put Bacon in the role of Johnny Valentine, a guy who’s getting shit on by the world until he lands a talk-radio gig. It seems unlikely that both of these projects will make it to the screen, but then again, when you get swindled by the biggest swindler in the history of swindling, putting in two shifts might not be out of the question.
