In advance of the September 5 premiere for the second season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the cast has been rocked by a sudden tragedy: Russell Armstrong, estranged husband to Housewives star Taylor Armstrong, hanged himself last night, according to TMZ. The Armstrongs were on the rocks this year after Taylor accused Russell of spousal abuse and filed divorce papers last month; ironically, Taylor remarked in her series introduction that she was afraid Russell would eventually leave her for a younger woman. The two have a 5-year-old daughter together. [TMZ]
