The Toronto Film Festival announced further premieres today, and one of the highest-profile new films will certainly be Sarah Palin — You Betcha!, Nick Broomfield’s documentary about the former governor that’s described as “a journey across the icy mid-winter snows of Alaska to meet her school friends, family, and Republican colleagues, to try and discover the real Sarah Palin.” (Consider it the bitchier-titled alternative to the recent pro-Palin doc The Undefeated.) Also of note at TIFF: Morgan Spurlock’s Comic-Con documentary, Comic-Con: Episodes IV: A Fan’s Hope, and Bobcat Goldthwait’s God Bless America, about a dying man turned avenger. [TIFF]
