Sheen’s 2.5 Men Lawsuit Nearing Settlement [Updated]

Apparently, Charlie Sheen’s newer, softer persona is more than just an act. Deadline reports that the actor’s lawsuit against his former Two and a Half Men employers — Warner Bros. Studios and creator Chuck Lorre — is drawing to a close. The proposed settlement is rumored to be around $25 million — significantly less than the $100 million Sheen and his lawyers demanded last spring, back when it seemed that the show might not survive without its original leading man. We guess there’s nothing like getting replaced by Ashton Kutcher to make a person humble. Update: TMZ says that while the initial payout will only be around $25 million, Sheen will eventually make around $100 million in syndication profits. [Deadline]
