But Darren Aronofsky said something weird and awkward to George Clooney! At the opening ceremony of the Venice Film Festival, Aronofsky — whose Black Swan was the smash of last year’s Venice, and who is this year’s jury president — had some welcoming words for Clooney, whose Ides of March just opened the festival this year. This is what he said: “Let’s just say you should be happy this building has been refurbished. Last year, I sat there between Natalie Portman and the president of Italy, and I think I peed in my pants.
