In the most recent promo for the Roast of Charlie Sheen, Jeff Ross slips into a fabulous little robins’ egg blue Gaddafi number to warm up the crowd for a long night of humiliation. “You make your own father ashamed that he shares the same fake name as you,” Ross admonishes Sheen over the sound of his epaulets. “Martin Sheen and Emilio Estevez said they would have been here tonight but they had a family obligation.” I actually appreciate Ross going for the “familial embarrassment” angle up top, seeing as how the rest of the show is undoubtedly going to drive every conceivable warlock and tiger blood joke deep into the earth’s crust.
