This winter, Sarah Silverman told Vulture to “lower [our] expectations” when it came to her nude scene in Sarah Polley’s Take This Waltz, which also stars Seth Rogan and Michelle Williams. At the Toronto International Film Festival, where the movie had its premiere, she indicated that she wasn’t just being self-deprecating. Apparently, Polley wanted “real bodies and real women” in the film, so Silverman, “Gained 20 pounds for the role. I wanted to be lumpier. I said, wouldn’t it be interesting to have a posture of a lady caveman.” Because cavewomen are real women, too. [THR]
