New York’s pop critic Nitsuh Abebe strikes again this week with a list of songs that includes covers of and remixes by artists both breaking and beloved. OFWGKTA’s SydThaKid, for example, remixes Swedish electronica from Little Dragon into a softer, bouncier arrangement. MGMT follows with a cover of the Bauhaus number “All We Ever Wanted Was Everything.” Why are we not surprised?
