If you have ever wondered whether Joel and Ethan Coen spend their free hours rocking out to Top 40, you now have a pretty definitive answer: nope! In a blow to pop-music fans everywhere, they’ve offered Justin Timberlake the lead role in the their upcoming folk-music movie Inside Llewyn Davis, as the husband to Carey Mulligan. The bright side is that Timberlake would play a folk singer, meaning that we’d at least get some musical contribution from the Serious Actor.
