For his return to Fox series television, Kiefer Sutherland is once again on a race against time, only now the stakes are a little more vague and a lot more cosmic. His young autistic son has never spoken a word (except to us, the audience — narration privileges!) but is obsessed with numbers and patterns. Soon enough, with the help of Danny Glover and Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Kiefer realizes that his son is keyed into a pattern that could predict future events, and there’s a big one of ambiguous nature about to happen. (Or maybe his son is a mole!) One other important-but-fuzzy date on the horizon? Exactly when this show will premiere, since so far, it’s simply slotted for the expansive “spring 2012” window.
