Interviewing Amy Ryan and her husband Eric Solvin at the same time is a treat. We discovered their appealing couple’s humor at last week’s New York premiere of Like Crazy, which stars Anton Yelchin and Felicity Jones as recent grads in a long-distance relationship made especially complicated by visa issues. When we asked Ryan if she knows from experience how awful a transcontinental romance can be, she responded, “This is my husband, I can’t answer that.” Then he chimed in: “Yeah, she was on Charles Street and I was on 11th Street. It was painful for a while.” The two were at the Tommy Hilfiger–hosted party to support director Drake Doremus and Jones, both of whom Ryan worked with on an upcoming film with Guy Pearce. “It’s called Batshit Crazy,” she told us. “No, I made that up.” (According to IMDb, it’s still untitled.)
