Penn Badgley, when he’s not busy occupying Wall Street, says he’s absorbed lessons from his role as Jeff Buckley, namely that “there’s no limitations,” he tells Nylon. “Gossip Girl is certainly not my driving passionate force in life, obviously,” he says, but he’s grateful that the show has given him “the ability to explore what [he] wants.” And what he wants is for Dan and Blair to get together! “I think Blair is Dan’s soul mate. I don’t know if they’re ever going to get together, but I’ll tell you that I’ve never enjoyed any scenes on the show as much as those scenes with Leighton Meester.” He also says that Taylor Momsen is “much sweeter and much smarter than anybody gives her credit for,” so enjoy all those grains of salt you need to take with this sort of information.
