Back in June, Reese Witherspoon had some advice for today’s breed of accidentally nude starlets: “When I came up in this business, if you made a sex tape, you were embarrassed and you hid it under your bed.” Now Witherspoon may be about to put her own advice to the test, as she’s being courted by Sony to play the lead in a new comedy called, yep, Sex Tape. The studio is in negotiations with Nicholas Stoller to direct and has made offers to Witherspoon and Segel to star in the story of a married couple who try to rekindle their spark by recording the titular video, only to find the next morning that their private tape has vanished.
