Quibble all you want over whether Glee can still technically be called a comedy; Ryan Murphy is moving even further into the sitcom world, selling a half-hour pitch to NBC in one of the season’s biggest deals. Deadline reports that Murphy and Allison Adler will write the project, a comedy about a blended family of two gay men, a woman, and their kids. We’re not yet sure how bitchy cheerleaders, weird redheads, and unplanned pregnancies will figure into things, but it’s still early. [Deadline]
