Times is reporting that Tatum is in talks to co-star with Carell in Foxcatcher, a fact-based drama directed by the suddenly (and welcomely) prolific Bennett Miller, who took several years off between his feature debut, Capote, and this year’s Moneyball. If a deal can be struck, Magic Mike star Tatum would play Olympic wrestler Dave Schultz, who was shot and killed in 1996 by the wealthy and paranoid heir John du Pont (the role Carell has signed on for).
