The Coen Brothers Head To TV With HarveKarbo

According to Deadline, the Coen brothers head to TV with the upcoming hour-long single camera comedy HarveKarbo for Fox. Co-created by the Coens and written by Ceder Rapids writer Phil Johnston, Harve “follows the title character — an ill-tempered LA private investigator whose cases frequently involve the depraved doings of the Hollywood elite-and his deadbeat friends in Los Angeles’ El Segundo.” This has the makings of a genius program, though you have to wonder if 1) Fox is the right channel for it and 2) people will egg Phil Johnston’s house when each episode isn’t a Coen-flavored masterpiece. It would be hard not to, really; I just have so many eggs sitting around.
