After watching the existential Ryan Gosling car drama Drive, you might be tempted to hit up iTunes for the soundtrack or inspired to mutter, “Why wasn’t Vin Diesel in that mean Jew-hating movie?” Or — or! — you could react like 31-year-old Petaluma native Brandon Kelly, whom you may know because he tossed a hot dog at Tiger Woods during a golf game last weekend. Why did he do that? “I threw the hot dog toward Tiger Woods because I was inspired by the movie Drive,’” Kelly explained to the Santa Rose Press Democrat. “As soon as the movie ended, I thought to myself, ‘I have to do something courageous and epic. I have to throw a hot dog on the green in front of Tiger.’” A very logical conclusion to come to!
