Lady Gaga has long been an outspoken advocate for bullied youth, and now she’s going to take her mission to the next level. Gaga announced today that she’s launching and will be directing a nonprofit foundation focused on issues like self-confidence, anti-bullying, and mentoring with the help of the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, the California Endowment, and the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University. “Together we hope to establish a standard of Bravery and Kindness, as well as a community worldwide that protects and nurtures others in the face of bullying and abandonment,” Gaga said in a statement.
