Networks have Muppet fever, too: NBC is hopping on the puppet bandwagon with The New Nabors, “a comedy about a human family and the repercussions they encounter living next door to a family of puppets.” The Jim Henson Company helped develop the project, and presumably its Creature Workshop would be involved in crafting the puppets (as they did for Dinosaurs and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and many of your favorite Muppets). Not to push too hard on the idea, but this seems like a great opportunity to introduce the Jesse Eisenberg Muppet to the world. Let’s make this happen, NBC.
