Taylor Swift Takes Home Top Award at CMAs

The Country Music Association Awards took to the Nashville stage Wednesday night and Taylor Swift walked away with the top honor. The arm-dancer extraordinaire won “Entertainer of the Year,” the second time in her young career she has done so (she previously won in 2009). Newcomers the Band Perry took home three awards, including two for their song “If I Die Young,” and James Jason Aldean won for the first time after winning “Album of the Year” for his “My Kinda Party.” The event, hosted for the fourth time by the duo of Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley, featured surprise comedic appearances by a standing ovation-inducing Hank Williams Jr. and (for some reason) Modern Family’s Eric Stonestreet.
