In an interview with the New Orleans Times-Picayune earlier this week, Treme executive producer David Simon announced that the show will end after its fourth season (the third is currently in production). That means fans can enjoy two more years of new episodes (and recaps), and everyone can delude themselves into thinking that Treme ending means Simon will finally have time to bring back The Wire.
