George Lucas has made a number of questionable decisions in recent years, from nuking the fridge to Jar Jar–ing the Binks, but the most recent addition to that list is one of the least troublesome: Lucas has dispatched Chewbacca to Glee to guest-star on the show’s Christmas episode. While the Wookiee won’t actually sing, he’ll be there for a flashback/homage to one of TV’s most notorious holiday events (and yet another “questionable decision”), 1978’s Star Wars Holiday Special. Judy Garland’s Christmas Special will also be honored, but it’s safe to assume that task will be left in Kurt’s capable, hairless hands.
