Louis C.K.’s making the rounds this week to promote his new special, with a feature on Nightline (above), and an interview on NPR, in which he reveals that he’s already made a profit by releasing the special himself:
“If I make a profit, that’s terrific,” he says. “If I don’t, and I’m outraced by the Internet-thieving or whatever it is, it’s not that big a loss to me. It’s okay — a lot of people saw the video and it was interesting. This has been such an education for me. … And I’ve got the money back already. I broke even — and then some.”
Hurray! And just in time for him to start all over from zero material again. That’s some discipline.
