There are only eight episodes of Chuck left, which means there’s limited time to squeeze in the ironic cameos and fun wink-wink guest spots that have been the show’s calling card lo these many years. Rebecca Romijn, you got in just under the wire! Over the show’s five-season run, Chuck chatter tended to revolve around the series’ precarious position for renewal or its ardent fans rather than the fact that the spy action-comedy is as big an homage-machine as Community with at least twice as many explosions. Oh, well. On this Friday’s episode, Romijn plays the hard-as-nails spy Robyn Cunnings (cute) who’s after Chuck and Sarah, and can only be thwarted by Morgan’s goofy allure.
