The short teaser for Tim and Eric’s Billion Dollar Movie made its mark earlier this week, but today’s full-length trailer is even weirder. Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim have perfected a certain unsettling aesthetic on their Adult Swim series Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! — call it “what you’d get if you melted a late eighties VHS tape in the sun,” or maybe “Ryan Trecartin for straight stoners” — and that’s pushed to the nth degree in this trailer, which is packed with celebrity guests. There is a plot, but that’s unimportant: What matters is that Mirror Mirror may finally have some competition for the most surreal trailer of the year.
