- Aziz Ansari, Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally will all guest star on Bob’s Burgers this season. Aziz plays “a geeky teenage gamer who mentors Bob on a game called Burger Boss in exchange for Bob’s help with a bully problem.” In a separate episode, Offerman and Mullally will play “aging, married hippie farmers who wind up hiring Bob’s kids…as ‘weed pickers.’” Bob’s Burgers, you’ve done it again! (“Done it” = procured awesome, funny guest stars. Spelling that out doesn’t sound as declarative and snappy, weirdly enough.)
- Sacha Baron Cohen has been cast as Thenardier in the movie musical version of Les Miserables. With comedy talent like this, moviegoers sure won’t be Miserables! I don’t deserve to live.
- Holly Hunter has joined the cast of Diablo Cody’s directorial debut about a young woman who loses her faith, then goes to Vegas and sins a lot and eventually gets her faith back. The cast also includes Julianne Hough, Russell Brand and Octavia Spencer. It’s still a little unclear how this is going to be a comedy, but much like the protagonist in the very beginning and end of the plot summary, I have faith!
