It’s now official: AMC says the fifth season of Mad Men will, in fact, kick off on March 25 and (hallelujah) that it’s going to be a two-hour episode. This confirms part of what Jon Hamm had let slip on a podcast last week. Though nothing is known of the plot, the episode is being written by the series’ creator Matthew Weiner and directed by Jennifer Getzinger, who directed last season’s “The Suitcase,” arguably one of the best episodes to date.
