But what they really want to do is … write? Joel Edgerton and Chris Colfer are best known for appearing in front of the camera, but both actors are extending their side careers in screenwriting, too. Edgerton (who starred in Warrior and will also be seen in The Great Gatsby) previously co-wrote Aussie thriller The Square, and now the Hollywood Reporter is writing that he’s sold a new spec, One Night Stand, to New Regency. Meanwhile, Colfer spent his last Glee hiatus starring in a movie he wrote, Struck by Lightning, and he tells E! that he’s penned another script that’s set to shoot this summer (in addition to roughly 8,000 other things the actor has written and sold over the past year).
