Despite no one in the world having ever before uttered the words “Louis C.K.” and “multi-camera” and “CBS” in the same sentence, Louis C.K. is creating a multicamera sitcom for CBS. The network has greenlit production on the pilot, which follows “a group of creative twentysomethings trying to make it in a difficult economy,” and was co-created by Seinfeld writer Spike Feresten. Leave it to Louie to subvert everyone’s auteur comedy-nerd expectations of him and make a show for the broadest network possible. It’ll probably be good, too. Oh, Louie. This is so like him.
